Acrylic Laminated Board
Product Overview
Acrylic Laminated Board consists of an extruded polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) surface film bonded to an engineered wood core using PUR (Polyurethane Reactive) hot-melt adhesive in a cleanroom environment.
The layered structure includes a protective peel-off masking film, a UV-stabilized functional PMMA top layer, a decorative color layer, and a calibrated substrate core (MDF, plywood, or particle board) finished with a balancing backer sheet to control dimensional stability.

Key Features
PUR Edge Banding Compatibility:
Reactive polyurethane adhesive cross-links during curing, withstanding temperatures up to 150 deg C to prevent joint delamination during laser or hot-air edge banding.
UV & Color Stability:
Acrylic surface co-extruded with UV inhibitors prevents polymer degradation and discoloration when exposed to direct sunlight in retail or hospitality spaces.
Thermal Scratch Repair:
Minor surface abrasions on the acrylic layer can be buffed out using standard compound polishing wheels or repaired via localized thermal treatment.
Anti-Fingerprint Performance:
Super matte variants feature an electron-beam-cured acrylic topcoat that scatters light and repels oil residue, eliminating daily smudge marks in high-touch environments.
Applications

Commercial Millwork:
Wall paneling, retail display fixtures, cash wraps, and elevator cab interiors.

Kitchen & Bath Cabinetry:
Vertical cabinet door panels, drawer fronts, and moisture-prone bathroom vanities.

Hospitality Casework:
Hotel guestroom headboards, wardrobes, and reception desk surfaces.

Office Furniture:
Executive desk surfaces, conference room credenzas, and acoustic partition panels.
Surface & Finish Options
High Gloss Finish:
Mirror-like reflection with high image clarity (DOI) to amplify spatial depth in compact commercial interiors.
01
Super Matte Finish:
Velvet-touch tactile surface with zero light reflection, anti-fingerprint properties, and soft-touch tactile response.
02
Metallic & Solid Colors:
Available in standard RAL/NCS solid hues, metallic flake infusions, and brushed aluminum visual effects.
03
Wood Grain & Abstract Patterns:
Synchronized pore textures combined with acrylic depth for high-end residential and hospitality millwork.
04
OEM & ODM Customization
Substrate Tailoring:
Supply designated core boards (fire-retardant FR-MDF, exterior-grade plywood, lightweight honeycomb cores) for lamination processing.
Film Thickness Customization:
PMMA film thickness ranges from 0.5 mm to 2.0 mm based on impact resistance requirements.
Balancing Sheet Matching:
Options for balancing paper, color-matched melamine backing, or dual-side acrylic lamination for balanced panel tension.
Protective Film Branding:
Custom laser-etched or printed protective masking film featuring company logos and handling instructions.
Production Line Setup: Homag and Barberan automated flat-lamination systems featuring closed-loop PUR slot-nozzle glue application for uniform adhesive coat weight.
Environmental Control: Cleanroom lamination areas maintain positive air pressure and particulate filtration to prevent dust inclusions between the PMMA film and core substrate.
Batch Verification Testing: Every master production run undergoes EN 314-2 boil tests to verify glue-line durability and ASTM D3359 cross-hatch adhesion testing.
Dimensional Inspection: Laser micrometers measure and log panel thickness, squareness, and diagonal tolerances continuously per pallet output.

Packaging & Export
Pallet Configuration:
Panels stacked face-to-face with protective closed-cell EPE foam sheets inserted between boards to prevent friction scuffing.
Edge Protection:
Heavy-duty fiberboard corner guards strapped with pneumatic tensioning tools across fumigation-free ISPM 15 compliant wooden pallets.
Moisture Barrier:
Vacuum-sealed heavy-gauge polyethylene outer wrap with embedded silica gel desiccant bags to prevent moisture absorption during maritime transit.
Container Loading:
Optimized fork-pocket pallet spacing designed for side-door container loading or floor-loading loose configurations upon request.
After-Sales Support
Batch Traceability:
Every pallet displays a unique barcode linked to production logs containing raw material lot numbers, press operator IDs, and glue temperature curves.
Technical Documentation Package:
Provision of mill test certificates (MTC), technical data sheets (TDS), safety data sheets (SDS), and fabrication machining guidelines (saw blade RPM, feed rates).
Defect Resolution Framework:
Replacement or credit memo issuance within 72 hours of receiving empirical evidence (photos, batch numbers, and lab reports) for any verified material non-conformance.
